Delicious, obscure #monica from #sardinia. Expect to keep this one in the wine fridge for a day from uncorking before the wine truly expresses itself. After that there’s a lovely wild cherry, violet, faint pepper and distant black cardamom smokiness in the heady nose. Juicy acidity, soft tannins on the palate make this nicely food friendly wine. Overall the experience is bargain Burgundian - fantastic wine for ~$13 at Total Wine. — 3 years ago

Vintage 2015 - This wine from #grenache is lovely. Opens up with aeration, the smell of plums, spices and even some roses. Vintage 2015 / Do you know that feeling? After a hard days work you come home and put a red wine in the glass. In this case #cannonau (= grenache), you smell cherries and taste a spicy and comforting wine. Nothing special... but still, I am very happy with it. This red wine from #sardinia is certainly the best thing since sliced bread. With a hamburger and salad. Also very adequate with a fenugreek cheese. — 6 years ago
