Yet another superb red blend from Nice Winery. 54% #cabernetsauvignon / 16% #merlot / 14% #malbec / 12% #petitverdot / 4% #cabernetfranc - it pays homage to all of the great varietals of Bordeaux. With a modest 13.8% ABV, it overflows with wafts of dark bramble fruit, leather, sous bois, lovely acidity, earth and lush California fruit in balance. Paired marvelously with grilled steak. — 8 months ago
I’ve been on a QPR kick lately with this $11 Costco #valledeuco #malbec. Expected bramble fruit, leather notes on the nose but the fresh acidity, balance and restraint on the palate are much appreciated. — 8 months ago
Not a #malbec but a #cabernetsaugvinon. Pretty good. Not very dry. — 9 months ago
Nice Wines mountain #malbec from Napa - which in of itself is interesting. Wine pours an inky purple-black. This is one of the highest extract red wines I’ve ever tasted. 86% #mtveeder / 14% #howellmountain fruit. Luxuriant cassis, intense bramble fruit aromas. Despite the extraction, the mountain fruit brings fulfilling acid balance and plush tannins round out the finish. Delicious wine. — a year ago
