Slightly muted with age, but still strong, supple fruit dark smoking meat went perfect with smoked reverse, seared ribeye steaks — 3 months ago
Perfection. So glad I laid this one down. — 2 months ago
Been drinking this over a few nights and very nice — 2 years ago
2022 vintage. Tasted with the winemaker Matt Brady. Nearly equal (and maybe better) to the 2021 vintage. Jumped at the 2021 effort so no room for this one but absolutely delicious follow-up. Spice, tannins, fruit all in balance and verry harmonious. It’s Pinots like this that keep me sold on the Santa Rita Hills as dayumed likely the best pinot-producing area in CA. 03.12.25 — 2 months ago
This is a wonderfully complex and layered Riesling with effervescent acidity, florals, white fruit and minerality. Lemon peel, pear, slate, and honeysuckle are on the nose and palate, each with its own distinct but harmonized role. If only there was more to be had! — 2 months ago
This very — VERY— dry Alsatian style Riesling from 40+ year old vines is a fantastic food wine. It’s loaded with bracing acidity that is incredibly well integrated into pear, lychee, grapefruit, and minerals. Beautiful gold color with a nose full of canned peach and wet stone. I wish it wasn’t the last of my allocation, especially since Bedrock seems to have stopped producing it after the 2019 vintage. — 10 months ago

At 10-years, a beautiful experience…deep, dark pour with no signs of bricking…dark fruit (more purple and black) aromatics that just keep on developing…palate mirrors aromatics with strong fruit profile…pleasing texture/mouth feel…medium finish…hard to say how much longer one should hold…tonight, it was in the right place for our dinner — 17 days ago
