Wow. Such a nice wine coming from humble origins. Needs some air to express itself. On the nose yellow lilies, apple blossom, almost a hint of jasmine, just ripe yellow apple, just ripe pear, a touch of fresh vanilla. On the palate, this really shines. Ripe orchard fruits, rich without being cloying. Blind I would place this as a village Meursault. Yellow apple, pear, touch almond, buttery and rich texture with minimal oak, crème brûlée; I’m assuming from skillful lees management . Good acidity, decent length. 13 abv. 24 usd at the grocery store. I haven’t seen ratings anywhere near where I’ve placed this, but maybe this is a product of a good vintage? Either way, huge fan — 7 months ago

Very nice wine, maybe needs a few more year. Integrated tannins. Little fruit. Went great with couscous and merguez. — 4 months ago
Nice tertiary notes of mushroom and forest floor. Fruit is still present albeit somewhat muted. Enjoyable but not the very best from the climat. — 5 months ago
Certainly not as rare as the Ponsot’s Clos des Monts Luisants, but as soon as I saw this on the wine list at reasonable price, I knew this was what I wanted to order.
The nose opens with lemon oil, white peach, crushed stones, and subtle hazelnut. The palate is supple yet lively, with vibrant acidity framing ripe orchard fruit and a cool, chalk-driven core. A faint floral note and gentle oak spice add complexity. Elegant with refined balance. — 6 months ago

Excellent! Smooth and polished. Super long and showing more maturity than I was expecting. All the classic notes in a superb showing. — 6 months ago
Unbelievable Christmas wine for the festivities…. — 4 years ago
Terrific rich and deep nose of savory minerals and an elite airiness. Also a hint if that classic Pommier richness. Pure and fresh. Palate is deep, rich, savory and incisive. Mouth-filling and deep. Awesome structure and finesse. So well made. Flavors of lemon, lemon pith and some savory elements. Has years to go. Truly great. — 6 years ago

Delish. Explodes on the palate. Remarkably dark fruited. Tiny bit of Brett. Rustic in that way. — 4 months ago
