Een eer om te drinken. Deze wijn blijft geven en is perfect in balans en bovenal prachtig op dronk. Pure verse truffel, tabak, leer, laurier, paddenstoelen.
Gekregen voor mijn verjaardag vorig jaar van al mijn lieve vrienden, gezien '95 mijn geboortejaar is en nu mogen drinken met wijnvrienden om te vieren dat we samen eerste werden op het NK blindproeven. Heel dankbaar! ❤️ — 3 days ago

Deeper ruby , slightly narrower garnet , ruby rim . Quite richly fruited with a meaty , smoky character also , red plum , dark cherry , blackberry , touch of spice . On the palate this has quite good density and grippy tannin , balanced acidity , darker ripe fruits. Reasonable length . Quite polished and modern in style . Needs time , come back in 5 years and will last well at least a further 10 . — 2 months ago

100% Tempranillo, about 12 mos in mostly new French oak. Deep Ruby, aromas of dark fruits, spice, floral and earthy oak. On the palate flavors of fresh blackberry & currants with tobacco, licorice and gentle bits of cedar. Tight tannins, supporting the backbone of the wine, could use more bottle age. Well balance with acidity, full body, long finish ends with some fruit, spice, and earthy character. Nice! — 22 days ago

Vega Sicilia started purchasing Toro vineyards in 1997 but didn’t release Pintia until ‘01. 100% Tinta de Toro, thick-skinned clone of Tempranillo, beautiful color, complex aromas of fruit & floral spice. Aged, 18 months, French & American oak, 15% stainless due to very dry year. On the palate pronounced fresh dark berry fruit flavors, smoky oak notes, well balanced with acidity. Complex big tannins, full body, long finish ending with elegant fruit & touch of earthy tones. Nice! Needs time! — a month ago
