Truly outstanding reductive, white flower, honey blossom, citrus, tropical notes galore and medium plus acidity. This bottle was consumed extremely quickly and I can only imagine what a few years or more of n the bottle will do to this wine. This is definitely American Grand Cru! — 6 years ago
I couldn't help but pit this against my recent tastings of Chateau Montelena's 2013. Stylistically, they are worlds apart. The Montelena is less imposing, and even coy by comparison, but it's piercing acidity shocks the palate, firing the flavors everywhere, but with a linear feel.
The Beringer begins with rich aromatics of tropical fruit, coconut, cream brûlée, and meringue, with a dash of dill. Everything translates through to the palate, which flaunts its round figure. The lack of acidity releases the wine on the palate to pursue its less-than-subtle seduction. I will admit, I was no match for this temptress Chardonnay. That said, by comparison to the Montelena, the Beringer feels like it has been cosmetically enhanced. Fortunately, it was in just the right places. — 9 years ago
Such a great nose on this. Lots of tropical fruit. Pineapple, kiwi, papaya. Good acidity, crisp, mineral driven. Love the wines from Dragonette — 9 years ago
Drink Seasonally! Tropical the 1st night, tingly zesty acidity, 2nd night was grassy & herby - gave us the textbook on SB — 10 years ago
Ripe and tropical SB. Semillon adds a nice creamy texture. The oak is a little aggressive and persistent on the finish. — 11 years ago
Great job team FC you ladies rocked this wine. Great summer Fume. Nicely balanced, with citrus and tropical flavors at the end

Light, bright yellow color. Nose has nuts, white pepper & soft tropical notes with a brush of clay. Crisp, mineral stone fruit & slight tropical character. What's amazing about this wine is it gathers the finest aspects of cool climate regions, while maintaining the expansive fruit character of warmer climate wines. Perfectly done. — 12 years ago
My new Favorite white, just love mountain fruit! Named for mountain range dividing Napa & Sonoma, old stone winery dug into side of dormant volcano crater in 1889, remained in production ever since. Pale lemon with aromas of Tropical and stone fruit with complex spice and floral notes. On the palate flavors of apple, pear and citrus with light oak and nutty tones, fresh and vibrant, well integrated. Long finish ending with fruit and flinty mineral characteristics. Long aging potential. Nice! — 3 years ago
Super sweet but would be AMAZING in a mixed drink! — 5 years ago

From a great looking bottle with high fill and perfect cork. Yellow gold and heavy weight in the glass. Bright tropical nose with notes of citrus fruit, river stone, petrol, clove and orange peel. Nice and round in the mouth but still with great acidity. Coats the taste buds. This was better in the first two hours than when compared to the last 4 hours. Paired well with cold heirloom tomato gazpacho soup. — 9 years ago
tropical smooth, no backend bite — 9 years ago
My favorite Sauvignon blanc - very fruity (citrus, tropical) without being overly sweet, which is perfect. Not as herbaceous/mineraly as Loire SBs. The 2014 vintage isn't as good, unfortunately.

Pale straw colour with green hue. Mix of tropical fruits on the nose, lemon and lime, herbal and grassy notes. Zesty and refreshing acids. Crisp clean finish. You probably cannot go wrong with Oyster Bay. — 11 years ago

What is this with these low scoring Californian Chardonnays?
This is just another perfect example of a very well made fat chardonnay. In the style well done. Nice tropical fruit, salty tones and wood well integrated and solid as a rock. Drinking cold well on the terrace after dinner with 30Co temp.
Well deserved 92 points. — 3 years ago
Passion fruit and other tropical fruits abound in this excellent NZ Sauv Blanc. Not too much acidity and great with a variety of foods. — 4 years ago
Pale lemon with aromas of stone and tropical fruits. Made from 40-year old vines, aged in 100% stainless steel. On the palate flavors of bright lemon citrus with crisp apple and peach notes. This medium-body wine has crisp acidity, good balance and nice mouthfeel, smooth long finish ending with creamy mineral texture. Very Nice! — 4 years ago

Melon on the nose, tropical palate, grapefruit finish.
Wonderful from start to lingering finish. — 9 years ago
Floral, slight effervescence, crisp, a little tropical fruit, citrus, and lemongrass. Very balanced and was terrific with spicy fish tacos. One of our new favorite whites. — 10 years ago
Slight hint of grapefruit. Tastes of a combination of different tropical fruits. Like a tropical Starburst. Really enjoy the crispness as well as the tart aftertaste. — 11 years ago
