Melon on the nose, tropical palate, grapefruit finish.
Wonderful from start to lingering finish. — 7 years ago
Lemons and nectarine on the nose mixed with the higher alcohol unfolding. Tropical fruits on the palate with a toasted sweetness- kind of like butterscotch and bruised nectarine skin. Salinity shoes up at the end and lingers as the fruits revisit. Very sweet. — 8 years ago
Drink Seasonally! Tropical the 1st night, tingly zesty acidity, 2nd night was grassy & herby - gave us the textbook on SB — 9 years ago
tropical fruit, slightly tart. crisp and clean. refreshing! — 10 years ago
Blend mostly Sauv Blanc (90%) with 10% Semillon, aged 50% new oak. Pale lemon with aromas of stone and tropical fruits, citrus and blossom with spicy notes. Palate flavors of peach, apple and grapefruit citrus with honeysuckle and pepper spice. Medium+ length, balanced acidity, ending with a fruit and mineral spice character. Very good! Will age well! — 3 years ago
Rich golden colour, nutty flavours as a result of ageing. Hint of fading tropical fruit on the nose with coconut on the palate. Honestly thought this would be well past its best but has surprised and delighted 19 years on! — 4 years ago

2008 Aubert Chardonnay Ritchie Vineyard
This is always the tropical fruit bomb of the Aubert line up. A super attractive wine. Hawaiian punch for adults. Drank it at room temperature, which is a sin, but it is so good it just doesn't matter. — 8 years ago
Such a great nose on this. Lots of tropical fruit. Pineapple, kiwi, papaya. Good acidity, crisp, mineral driven. Love the wines from Dragonette — 8 years ago
Slight hint of grapefruit. Tastes of a combination of different tropical fruits. Like a tropical Starburst. Really enjoy the crispness as well as the tart aftertaste. — 9 years ago

The guava is real! Juicy, tropical fruit forward nose. Melon and fresh straw. Sweet and smooth, not too crisp, but still refreshing and delightful. — 4 years ago
Truly outstanding reductive, white flower, honey blossom, citrus, tropical notes galore and medium plus acidity. This bottle was consumed extremely quickly and I can only imagine what a few years or more of n the bottle will do to this wine. This is definitely American Grand Cru! — 4 years ago
Lots of oak followed by some tropical fruit — 7 years ago
Super tropical and super young — 7 years ago
From a great looking bottle with high fill and perfect cork. Yellow gold and heavy weight in the glass. Bright tropical nose with notes of citrus fruit, river stone, petrol, clove and orange peel. Nice and round in the mouth but still with great acidity. Coats the taste buds. This was better in the first two hours than when compared to the last 4 hours. Paired well with cold heirloom tomato gazpacho soup. — 8 years ago
tropical smooth, no backend bite — 8 years ago

Sipping Fine Wine
Pale lemon with aromas of stone and tropical fruits. Made from 40-year old vines, aged in 100% stainless steel. On the palate flavors of bright lemon citrus with crisp apple and peach notes. This medium-body wine has crisp acidity, good balance and nice mouthfeel, smooth long finish ending with creamy mineral texture. Very Nice! — 3 years ago
