What more can be said about this? Classic California Chardonnay. Bright yellow with a pronounced tropical & buttery nose. There was an ever so slight a bit of pettiance when first opened & On the palate the wood tannins are a bit assertive when served cold, but as this warmed up, it grew more lush & decadent with notes of clove & coconut. A slight touch of acid & a creamy round finish close it out. Dependable.

Vanilla bomb. Super woody and oaky with a ton of smoke. This is the stereotypical Cali chard with a little RS on the finish.

(*) Butter bomb. Not well integrated or particularly complex. But easy drinking with grilled shellfish.
