A little funky. Very juicy. Love it with a spicy meal — 2 months ago
Blend of equal amounts of local red grapes; Caino, Espadeiro and Loueiro, Ruby red color with aromas of red fruits, herb, floral and cigar box notes. On the palate flavors of cherry and raspberry with tobacco, oak and garden herbs. Medium+ finish, chalky tannins, savory, ending with herbs, spice, cedar and slight fruit, savory. Nice, will continue to age. — 4 months ago

Classic example of a well-made Mencia. — 6 months ago
Nose - Crayons (in a good way), Old wood barrels and Petrichor. Main tastes - Muted fruit flavors because it’s so soft and smooth on the tannins for the most part. Maybe a bit of crab apples from the acid. Really approachable food wine. I love Montepulcianos so I’m a bit bias here with my rating but overall it’s really nice. — 3 months ago

Hot damn. Delicious. Jeff like you would expect with a CA cab, but a counterpoint in the raspberry/strawberry blossom flavors… a totally lovely and balanced red, aged to perfection — 14 days ago
