This is a delicious Petit Verdot from Napa Valley.
Tasty right out of the bottle and better after 2 hours in the decanter.
Showing black fruits with cedar, vanilla, leather, chocolates, tobacco leaf, spices, tar, peppercorn, dark coffee, earth and licorice.
Full bodied with medium acidity.
Dry and fruity on the palate.
Loved the nose here.

For a red lover, and not a fan of Chards, this wine knocked me off my feet! I absolutely Loved it! If I could describe my perfect request for a white wine, it would be this one. Butterscotch, almond, a slight fruity hint of lemon zest but not sharp or tart, buttery and bright yet incredibly smooth and a nice heavy feel. This is my favorite white wine ever! (And ranks above some of my fave reds). — 2 years ago
Excellent! Tangerine, cantaloupe, and a hint of lemon grass and peach. A burst of flavor! — 4 years ago

It’s a baby still but shows a lot of promise A LOT - virtual tasting with WNH and Tor and Elizabeth and big thanks to @Carl Fischer god setting up and I forgot to add @Shay A to this list on the tasting — 4 years ago
Delicious medium body chard. Creamy but not buttery. Oak is pushed a bit. Fruit is a little zesty, lemon peel, and maybe slight nuttiness, macadamian? I like it, young obviously. Keep it cellared and come back to it in Fall 2024 or beyond. — 2 years ago

“Sunday Funday” with friends & family ✨
Had this a few weeks ago and went into it today already thinking it’d blow the TOR blend out of the water, but no...I thought this drank just beneath the blend in terms of complexity, performance, and overall desirability. — 4 years ago
A nice gruner for sure! Doesn’t give as much as I’d like on the nose, but great purity and depth with incredible teeth cleaning acid. — 4 years ago
Really trying to get an understanding of the Lagrein grape while in its home region of Italy. This is a nice one, but quite different in style than the Nusserhof we had the other night. Deep dark violet in the glass. After an hour of air, quite nice aromatically, with deep dark fruits coming through and the initial oak note blowing off. Full bodied, with a fair bit of young tannin - which made it a great pairing for simple meats from a rustic wood grille. Nice long finish with good acid. — 4 years ago
Super lush cab franc. Great wine all around. — 5 years ago

375ml. Very impressed. Dark red color. Mixture of Napa and Bordeaux on the nose. Insane balance of sweetness and tannic structure. Velvet on the palate. Could drink this all day long. Tried to buy more but appears they stopped making it in 2015. Such a shame as it rocks!! — 9 months ago
