Beautiful label with original artwork. Aged well. Color is still very dark. Smells meaty. Floral too. Hints of violets. Berry melange. Flavors are dense and very tannic. Fairly complex and very chewy. Clean and clear with the lovely flavors. Plenty of savory and licorice-y stuff. This is Petite at its best and it’s still going strong 14 years on. — 3 months ago
Amazing vintage and part of the vineyard - a little sweet, but a perfect finish — 5 months ago
Really pleasant. Very light and easy drinking; heavy green apple and lemon flavors with apricot. It's got a mineral edge but not in a typical limestone sort of way. Would buy again, but it doesn't last very long, so finish the bottle within a day. Two max. — 2 months ago

Big, rich, maybe just a little too ripe (as @Tom Casagrande pointed out in a note about an earlier vintage), but still a nice, solid, old vine field blend, Contra Costa County history!! — 5 months ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Blend of 65% Zinfandel, 26% Petite Sirah, 5% Syrah & 4% Alicante Bouschet. Deep Ruby with aromas of red fruits, oak, spice and floral scents. On the palate flavors of cherry and raspberry with pepper, cacao, spice and smoky oak. Well balanced, fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, smoke and spice. Will age. — a day ago
