When people try to tell you Ontario can't do good reds those people are garbage. Garbage. This wine was spectacular and I'm frankly a little sad I didn't save this for a night of Netflix and crying by myself.
Smooth tannins, with chocolate and tobacco and grass. Yum! — 7 years ago
A crime to drink so young — 8 years ago
Champion's league final wine.
Strawberry, green pepper, black pepper and some mineral stuff like pencil lead. The palate is wonderful. Strong acid backbone, strawberry all along, a strong grip on the sides, firm tanins, a long peppery, fruity finish and some bitterness in the end. This is glorious. So much craft put into making sure that every part I have described is well articulated and makes sense. Like reading a good crime story — 6 years ago
So tight, even the day after. Great stuffing. I've truly commited a crime here... opening it this young 😫 — 7 years ago
Color : Red
Wine estate : Château Latour-Martillac
Designation : Pessac-Léognan
Name : Pessac-Léognan Grand Cru Classé
Country : France
Vivino : 4/5
Note : A purple dress, a floral and fruity nose on hints of prunes. A woody touch on the palate with long, organized and precise tannins. Being very dry, we feel correctly the complexity proposed and allows us a pleasant tasting.

Une robe violet, un nez floral et fruités sur des touches de pruneaux. Une touche boisée en bouche avec des tannins long, organisé et précis. Étant très sec, on sent correctement la complexité proposé et nous permet une dégustation agréable. — 7 years ago
Floral and slightly off dry, but well balanced. Not cloying. A great match for bacon-wrapped cherries 👌

More like true crime — again, kiddin’ it’s great. — 8 years ago
Drinking surprisingly well, its not a crime to pop this baby open now.....but of course as with all of Scarpa you can lay it down for decades to come... — 8 years ago
5 years young with a bright future ahead.
Hot tip: drink at 16degreesC
Drinking this fridge cold is a crime. — 6 years ago
A-Ma-zing!! Crime de Cassie, light tobacco. So well balanced. Uber ripe strawberries and a hint of chocolate... true perfection in this bottle — 7 years ago
For its price and taste, this wine is definitely a great value! The Red Blend tastes good by itself and it is very easy to drink. Definitely a daily wind down wine! — 7 years ago
Yum! Would buy again

Amazing that an island with such a high crime rate (based on my watching Hawaii 5-0) and violent police force (again based on what I’ve seen in Hawaii 5-0) can produce such a good beer. — 8 years ago
With Hillstone recently deciding to A). add a $15 corkage fee to their menu and B). take the Smith-Madrone Spring Mountain Cab Sauv. off their wine list (crime of the century in my opinion!), I wondered if there were any good wine finds left on their menu. I was pleased to find this one and enjoyed it thoroughly with my French Dip! Even better was the cute guy seen sitting across the bar from me! I would have gladly shared! Now, just need to curb my addiction to their creamy horseradish and all will be right in the world-well sorta.... — 8 years ago

Could use a bit of time - though not a crime to drink with at least 30 min of air. Unmistakable Zin - big fruit and spice. Thoroughly enjoyable and a wine that doesn’t require a high IQ to enjoy. — 6 years ago
