This guy @Tegan Passalacqua cant stop drinking these babies. It’s hard to let them age because so graceful and textured even in their youth. Remarkable texture for a 13% abv wine. Nice work sandlands crew. Keep it coming — 5 years ago
Refreshingly dry zippy citrus balanced with body from the skin contact. Way too easy to drink. Just the way sparkling should be. Pairs tremendously well with cheese and salty crackers. — 6 years ago
Light, strawberrys + other berry’s on the nose — 6 years ago
Less sweet than other pet nats I’ve tried which was refreshing — 6 years ago

Soft, light-bodied blend from a favorite producer. Strawberry, cherry, nice earthy stemmy tannins in ethereal balance. Low ABV and seemingly weightless. Tegan is my hero for producing increasingly small amounts of amazing shit and holding his price at a level that makes me smile. — 2 years ago
A bit of funk, ligh bodied, but more depth than just juice. A good freshness, and energetic. Lovely — 6 years ago
True guilty pleasure. A wine this inexpensive shouldn’t make me smile this much! Clean, crisp, dry, simple, simple fun... with or without food. Lemon-lime, a bit of funk, touch of wooly lanolin, nice acid still driving the fruit towards that wonderful, long, lingering finish. Tegan... full props for keeping this wine affordable if still impossible to find apart from the list. — 6 years ago

On the nose: a used bookstore with a hint of incense. On the palate: red current and cherries. The lightest tannins and incredibly juicy — 6 years ago
Drank at socially distant sushi picnic with kathleen and Susanna. Juicy and mineral, light alcohol - would go with anything summery. All biodynamic! — 6 years ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of two days. Best on Day 2. The 2023 Amador County pours a bright, deep straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of tart orchard fruit: peach, lemon, tangerine, white flowers, lanolin, and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with high acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and the texture is waxy. Obviously young but I can’t help but feel that these Chenin’s from Tegan just keep getting better and better. Drink now through 2039. — 6 months ago
