This was some great Grenache! In fact, this, to me, is just how a single-varietal bottling of this grape should taste. In spite of the moderate bottle age, there was a lot of freshness in it, and some great red fruit flavors as well. Very well done! 100% Grenache. 5/12/25. — a year ago
Thanks to @Eli Barton dot this recommendation. Enjoyed it thoroughly. — 4 years ago
[44% Mourvèdre, 43% Grenache, 9% Counoise, 4% Cinsaut] Tavel-style medium-dark salmon color Rose that I look forward to trying every year, very French-like with the Mourvèdre really showing, the Grenache adds some very nice round redfruits, the Counoise and Cinsault really lifting the acid and the wine, quite a full-bodied rose, longish finish, as always, very, very good!! — 8 months ago
Full of dark fruits with consistent finish. I think it needs more time to open up for smoother flavor. — 10 months ago
I tasted the 2024 Vermentino with my flight at Tablas Creek and bought a bottle to take home. Lovely fruity wine, very drinkable. I generally don’t like whites with strong minerality but found this one to be very palatable! — a year ago

Poured into a decanter about an hour prior to service. The 2005 “Panoplie” pours a deep garnet color with an opaque core; medium+ viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is vinous, with notes of ripe and desiccated black and red fruit: blackberries, Marionberries, raspberries, black cherry, strawberry, leather, mushrooms, purple flowers, cocoa, old wood and a mix of dry organic and inorganic earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and simply delicious. Drink now through 2040+. — 9 months ago
This is a rosé blend of 68% Granache, 28% Mourvèdre, 3% Vermentino, and 1% Counoise, that delivers a full tradition of Provence with a fruit sourced from the 9 top Tablas Creek Rhône-styled vineyards in Paso Robles AVA. It provides a bright strawberry fruit, a hint of rose petals and lemongrass notes on the nose.
As for the palate, it gets stimulated with an amazing fresh acidity all combined with some soft spices, mandarin peel, fresh apricot, and unripe berries. The mouthfeel has a subtle peachy tones on the mid-range and grapefruit with some light salinity by the back-end. Joyful wine to welcome summer! — a year ago

This is a stunning white showing surprisingly rich evolution: lemon and candied lemon, acacia, honeysuckle, wet stone, sage, green apple, dried apple, white peach, lime, lime zest, fennel and anise. It’s held up very well for six years, with vibrant acidity and rich, creamy texture. Very long finish — 3 years ago
Bright green-gold in the glass…lemon, pineapple, yuzu notes with a hint of green grass with lively acidity. Serious weight, nicely dry, touch of bitter grip on the finish. Tablas whites make wonderful dinner companions. Very nice foil for good Greek takeout of pasticcio, simple chicken kebabs, and skordelia. Opah! — 4 years ago

Medium-dark purple color, smoky, black pepper, very northern Rhone aromatically and on palate, rich, deep fruit, nice balance, long finish, moderate alcohol (13.6%), this is very, very good!! — 7 months ago
