Nose has deep blackberry fruit and a bit of garrigue-y earthy notes, a little iodine. Deeply rich in the mouth. The fruit has a very slight pruny element but does not detract. In the finish, however, the peppery heat of the alcohol (only a stated 14.5%) makes a prominent appearance. Long. — 6 days ago
Full bodied, dense, deep ruby Bordeaux. On the nose: dark mulberry fruit, cedar, & a touch of eucalyptus/camphor. On the palate: dark fruit, cedar and light tannins. After 40 minutes decanted the tannins recede and the soft fruit is delicious. This wine is fully mature and a terrific offering from Medoc. If you have it or can get it, drink now and enjoy! — a month ago

Crisp apple notes, fresh floral aromas, and perfect straw color. Intense sweetness balanced out by acidity and dryness — 21 days ago
Very tasty! Lots of flavor but still well balanced. — a month ago
If it was any smoother, you’d be drinking silk. — 18 days ago

This wine has barely any color at all, just a very faint yellow-green tint. The nose is nice. There is a slight trace of petrol, which I always love to find in a Riesling. More dominant is a lanolin note which joins a light floral aroma. The palate straddles the fence between dry and sweet, offering up some tasty stone fruit and a savory side marked by gentle spices and a workable acidity. I would like a drier wine better, but I drank this quaff gladly and poured another. — 12 days ago
