Medium body, warm, chocolate/espresso — 3 months ago
Dark ruby hue. Aromas and flavors of blackberry, cassis, licorice, and plum. Plus body, plus tannins, plus acid. While strong, balanced, and elegant, it opens up with a soft, round palate. Exemplary Napa red. 68 Cab Sauv, 28 Merlot, 2 Cab Franc, 2 Petit Verdot. — 4 months ago

Really? Wow. At 26 years old, not only hanging in there… but highly enjoyable. The mustiness had to blow off for a while, and then it hit its stride. Some toasty fruit remains in front of a long finish. cheers to ending 2023. …. Still going. Finish still going…. Going… — 5 months ago

Deep and delightful. Blackberry, blueberry, and black currant. Big and brambly. Great with steak and dark chocolate. — 3 months ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over three days. Better on Day 2 and Day 3. The 2021 pours a deep ruby with near opaque core; medium+ viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of red brambles, green bell pepper, tobacco, purple flowers, dry gravely earth, soft baking spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and satisfying. I don’t drink Pride very often but there is a lot to like. Super consistent. Drink now with some patience but better after 2026 and through 2041 — 24 days ago
