Super smoky in the nose and the tongue. Nice acidity. Cherry and red fruit notes with some vegetable and oregano. A very interesting wine that drinks like heavily smoke ribs. Like licking yesterday’s campfire. The most distinct, complex wine I’ve had this year. Not a daily drinker, but light enough in body and alcohol that all the smokiness still has a lighter finesse. — 5 years ago

Hello...Baseball glove leather, graphite and some good old BDX funk. Great fruit and structure... Some band-aid showing up after a while. Nice toluene nose initially. Bright berries and band-aids. Surprisingly tight on the back end. After an hour in the decanter a fantastic bog water nose started to emerge. Gradually opening up, but I think this wine needs another 10-15 years to hit its stride. — 9 years ago
