This superstar 2012 vintage just doesn’t seem to miss. Especially not when paired with the elegance of Bollinger.
A gorgeous rose copper color in the glass. Plenty of fine bubbles that seem to just go on and on. The approachability of these outstanding 12’s is immediate. Wild strawberries and herbs shine on the nose. Red currant, raspberries, and stewed plums. Some exquisite spice notes along with white flowers. Tangerines and watermelons play a part.
The vitality and sheer energy of this is amazing. 67% Pinot Noir from Aÿ and Verzenay. 33% Chardonnay from Oiry and Le Mesnil sur Oger with 5% still red wine from Bollinger’s legendary Côte aux Enfants vineyard. Terrific youthful tension and balance. Zippy acidity with 8 g/l of sugar. Disgorged in August of 2019 and already showing some maturity.
Pure romance on the tongue. Silky smooth and elegant with fresh red berries and more spice on the palate. Saffron and honey with oak complimenting. The Lehmann Jamesse Grand Blanc provided more floral notes, while the Riedel Dom Perignon showed more ripe fruit and minerality. Both wonderful. Yes this will obviously develop over time and become so much more special but you deserve this now. So do I. Enjoy.

Anderson’s Conn Valley Vineyards 2013 Right Bank cab franc 67% and merlot 33%. FANTABULOUS!!!! At 60 dollars it is as high end as it gets for my taste at a budget cost. It is better than any cab franc blend Ive ever had at any price. it has a unique oak and spice to it. No chocolate nor vanilla. Loads of Black licorice and cigar. A wonderful change. Still lots of dark berries on the beginning and very dry on the finish. This will never disappoint. Must decant however for at least 30 min in large decanter. — 7 years ago

Blend of 67% Shiraz (co-fermented with 6% Viognier), 17% Grenache and 10% Mataro, deep Ruby with aromas of red and black fruits with floral, spice and funky reductive notes. On the palate flavors of blueberry and blackberry with black pepper spice, licorice with lively spice. Dusty tannins, long finish ending with fruit, slight oak, floral and spicy notes. — 3 years ago
Villagio with life long friend Anthony D. This bottle rocked. My personal fav and one of the best bottles I ever had was a 76’. The 67’ was past its prime and the 00’ was outstanding. This 09’ opened up amazingly... — 4 years ago
Big, sturdy, bold Zin-based blend for under $10. Reminds me a little of what Ravenswood Vintners Blend was many years ago before it became wimpy grape juice. Loads of blackberry and cassis notes. Some peppery spice on the back end. Great pizza/pasta/burger wine. Even better on the second night. — 7 years ago
67% Arbanne / Petit Meslier / Fromenteau & 33% Chardonnay, Disgorged November 2017.
A mineral and nutty freak show! Wow this palate... Green apple, peach skin, lemon, leesy/yeasty aspects, insane limestone/saline notes on the very long finish, perfect.
24hr Update: Toasty brioche goodness with acidic mineral butter, best to open this one and drink the following day. Crazy? Yes probably, but amazingly enough the bubbles are still almost as good as day one! — 7 years ago

Tried twice. Blend of 67% Cab Sauv and 33% Merlot, bigger Cab% in ‘17. Deep Ruby with aromas of dark fruits, oak and spice. On the palate flavors of fresh blackberry, plum and currants with licorice and cigar box spice adding some cedar and slight floral notes. Fine ripe tannins, long finish ending with layers of fruit, cedar and spice. A joy to drink. Opening now but will last another decade+. Nice! — 4 years ago
67% Zinfandel - 33% Petite Sirah. 100 cases produced. 15.9% alcohol. Great drinking wine, crowd pleaser. Didn’t taste like it was that high of alcohol percentage. Dark berry, cassis, with a very “thick” mouthfeel. If you like the old Prisoner or Venge’s Scout’s Honor then you will love this wine. I would either aerate it or decanter it for at least 30 minutes. Lots of life yet. Great QPR, especially coming from a small higher end Napa producer. — 6 years ago
Great Argentine blend of Malbec 67%, Cab Franc 26% and Syrah7% — 7 years ago
This is not the Lot. It’s the Truquilemu Carginan. I’ve asked Delectable to add it.
On the nose; deeper & dark than the Bagual. Dark cassis, blueberries, black raspberries, plum, violets, dark moist soils, dry top soil, red flowers with violets.
The fruits are creamy. The body full and ripe tannins are round & sticky. blueberries, black raspberries, plum, violets, dark moist soils, dry top soil, red flowers with violets. Fabulous acidy and rich polished finish.

2019 vintage. Cabernet Sauvignon (67%), Merlot (26%) and Cabernet Franc (7%). A classic Saint-Julien. Intense nose with cassis, blackberry , cedar wood and violets. Layers of concentrated black fruit in a powerful structure with ripe tannins and fresh acidity. This combines power and finesse. Long lingering finish. Highly recommended. Abv. 14%. — 3 years ago
