Awestruck at this Rhone styled GSM when you look at quality and price! Nearly glass staining when poured. Nose of black fruit with smashed blueberries being the main player. The punch line of this wine (besides price) is the soft lush tannins on the sip-perfect for this style of wine. Good fruit structure, baked cherry, plum and sour black cherry. Finishes big with slight pepper tingle that fills the throat and sinus. Opened for about 2 hours to breath before pour.

Started out a bit tight, but really opened up after 1/2 hour. Blackberry notes on finish. NV IX X XI.

Wow I don't usually like Rhone blends, but this Santa Barbara blend is succulent. Bright red fruit with a lush,
buttery mouthfeel. Has the nose of a high-end Willamette Pinot, but with more complexity given the blend. 93 pts
