Really incredible wine. Not paired with any food, the wine is flavorful, quenching w/ oak flavor adding the right dryness and notes of plum & vanilla to finish - really well balanced and opened well. Bottled was empty far too quickly : ) — 5 years ago

Fort Ross FRV Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2013: Beautiful ruby-red color. Elegant Balance. Silky tannins. Great acidity. Dark fruit (blackberry, currant, plum). Red fruit (cranberry, cherry, pomegranate). Menthol. Spice. Earth. One of my absolute favorite Sonoma Coast Pinots and a perfect match for today’s #tacotuesday Cheers🍷 — 5 years ago

Strong black pepper nose, with blueberry and jasmine. Wonderfully complex on the palate with dancing ripe red currants and blueberries. Amazing and delicious. Slight tannins and long, smooth finish. — 5 years ago
Perfumed and powerful. Long, fresh finish. Drink up! — 6 years ago
Fort Ross Seaview Bordeaux blend. Old world style. Truffle, cedar & cassis nose. Fresh style on the palate. Drinks more Super Tuscan than Bordeaux. Black currant & tobacco, but loads of fresh acid. Drinks great with a pork ragu & pasta. Definitely one to seek out. — 6 years ago

Strong but elegant and smooth. Intense cherry flavor but like Gevrey-Chambertin. Too astringent in the finish when first opened but that problem goes away after an hour of air. Great value under $30. — a year ago
