Kashaya vineyard is only 4 miles from the Pacific Ocean, keeping the vines cool, but high enough to reduce the fog effect and increase sun exposure. Nice roundness and fruit for a Pinot Noir. Could drink this all year! — 8 years ago

Something very clean and elemental about this wine, and something Bordelaise as well, given the depth, lack of California over-ripeness and relative inaccessibility in youth. Not an "easy" wine, but neither is young Lynch Bages. — 8 years ago
