Beautiful balance, freshness and approachablibity. A wine with class. — 5 days ago
2016 inviting nose, soft tannins and good finish. — 10 days ago
2014 vintage. Decanted and tasted immediately and after 45 minutes. Zero sed on the decant. Medium body. Was expecting it to be a little bigger. Graphite/lead pencil and some funk in the nose. The funk blew off after 10-15 mins. Flavors presented as lean and mean with plenty of baking chocolate and earth waving hello. Likely needed two solid hours in the decanter before pestering. 1.11.24. — 4 months ago
Pure and précise. Time will reward. — 6 days ago
Massive monster of a wine that will obviously polarise. The type of wine that you drink while being fed grapes and fanned with a giant palm leaf. Opulent and luxurious with blackberry, brambles and tar. Its going to be too much for a lot of people but if you like your wines full of flavour then this is for you! — a month ago
Smooth. Not tannic. Even better after being opened several days. Blackberry. — 15 days ago
Can’t tell if not in a great spot or maybe some slight heat damage—but leaning to the latter. Tasty, but not as good as it should have been — a month ago
Sexy in 30 min. Rich cassis, blue and blackberry, (good kind) oaky vanilla, velvety tannins. Complex and fun. Risotto with mushrooms and sausage. — 2 months ago

Drank 12 /7/23.
Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas!
Scents of plum, blackberry, currant, and chocolate. Flavors are similar, with blackberry, plum sauce, and soil. Tannins are still firm, but, well integrated and mix with black fruits on the long finish. This one goes on for over a minute. Drinking well now, but showing no signs of slowing down. This should last another 10 plus years, but is in a nice place now.

Great with a NY strip, but even better with the balsamic glaze that complimented it. This pairs wonderfully with sweet dark fruit flavors. — 5 months ago
Very smooth. I’ve never tried a Bordeaux but this is so smooth! — 16 days ago

rounded fresh fruits, deeply tannic still. aniseed, pepper, like a cured sausage taste. light oak on the nose and on palate. clove. slightly mineralic, granite and graphite, fresh olive, orange rind. — a month ago
WS Top Values for this year so tried it and also because I love Syrah. Cherry notes are prevalent but not a fruit bomb like some American versions. Smooth finish. Would get again. — 2 months ago
Earthy and funky. Big and bold — 3 months ago
Love these wines. 2016 is a beautiful rendition, rich, spicy, and mineral, layered with oak framed vibrant fruit, sweet spices, violets and game, with a seductive, velvety and expansive palate with fine grained tannins. Drinking beautifully now but with a long life ahead. More Vosne than NSG which is just the way I like it. Last sips were the best. — 4 months ago
Smoky violets. Savory with a whiff of grapefruit. Whole cluster. Thoughtful. — 5 months ago

Intense. Closing a bit “technical” for my taste. Will improve. 95+ — 6 days ago
