Some Napa History will turn any day special. — 5 months ago
Love it. Thanks Tom, had it with prime Chuck smash burgers. Smooth, dark fruits, so good. — 2 years ago
Deep purple without a hint of any other suggesting improper storage. Classic if a bit understated Napa nose. Soft yet appropriately firm tannins. Ripe black fruits. Luscious wine. Suggest drinking sooner rather than later owing to fruit ripeness. — 4 years ago
Took awhile to open but once it did this is a pretty decent Cab - nose is full of fruit - blackberries - palate is a little sparkly, slightly underwhelms vs the nose but still solid — 2 months ago
Wow, was worried that it was past its prime but boy was I wrong. The bold cab flavor, combined with mellow tannins, made this a perfect Sunday pasta pairing. — 6 months ago
An amazing Cab. Love the bold, color and aroma. — 8 months ago

Really a very nice Napa Cabernet from a great vineyard site in a good drinking place age wise. On cork pop the oak was too overbearing - that sort of oaky sweetness that I don’t care for. But decanted for a couple hours as a result and quite nice after that. Deep violet in the glass. Deep dark fruit notes. Unmistakably Napa, for sure. Some glycerin feel. But a long finish with just enough acid to keep it together. I don’t often drink Napa cab, but on a fall day with burgers it’s hard to complain. — 5 years ago
This wine is drinking really well. Nice and juicy but still has nice tannin structure on the finish! — 3 months ago
Classic Napa. Mellow tannins but still fresh at this age. Drinks beautifully. — 4 months ago
Lemon citrus and hints herbs. — 2 years ago
We had the 2013 Vintage on 5/2-3/21. This was a terrific full bodied, well balanced wine. Tastes of blackberry, plum, kirsch and vanilla on the palate. The tannins were smoothed out. A great example of the Napa floor. — 5 years ago

Wine Spectator rated the ‘21 with an impressive 93 points and this Merlot was featured as #25 on the Top 100 wines of 2024.
flavor notes include blackberry, dark, cherry cedar, and that earthy Napa finish
I recommend this read to anyone who can find the 2021 vintage. Perhaps other years too. — 2 months ago
