Aged really well deep Napa Cab

Napa cab in its prime. Lots of pepper, cigar box, clove and loads of flavorful spice. This is an amazing wine. What cab should be.

Another epic #KWN. KWN Wine 1. What a way to start off the night. Blackberry, currant, clove, Christmas spice and some cigar box. Exploding with flavor, but clearly had a little age to it. Just outstanding. A tour de force. Very, very close to being the #WOTN and I'm not kidding. I had to really reflect on that, which you would think would've been a runaway given Wine 7.

Dark aged coloring, still has vibrancy, spicy noted through and through, vanilla. Long finish. Oak and alcohol are well balanced, reminiscent of cognac. Held nicely up to Mu Shu Pork dinner.

Smell of Rutherford dust. Qpr is high, nice wine but leaves you with a very dry (cotton mouth) after taste.

Baked prune and roasted mushroom with a minty back palette. Took an entire day to open up. Opened yesterday, wasn't ready - drank today. Glad i was patient.
