Medium light garnet , wide terracotta rim . Rich quite ripe fruits , sunny and incredibly inviting . On the palate lovely balance between sweet ripe dark fruits and freshness with touches of liquorice and grafite nuances . Long and balanced on the finish , lovely fresh acidity , resolved rounded tannins . Perfect now and over the next 5-8 years, I would imagine at end of its peak . — 19 hours ago

Yes @Tom Casagrande , I’m sure the fact that this hadn’t changed hands since being bought from the UK importer in the 80s , and stored in Blenheim Palaces perfect , dark cellar had a lot to do with it … really was in great shape!
