Polished domestic Merlot. Very savory on the nose. Almost classic Bordeaux in style , green olive and olive tapenade. Oregano and thyme with just a hint of oak hut not overly in your face. Beautiful inky hue. Lots of great tannin and acidity on the backbone of this wine. Plenty of room to keep aging. Blackberries and blueberries upfront. Fantastic finish that lingers without feeling big heat. Very well balanced at 14.5% — 9 months ago
Better than I expected - really quite nice. Somewhere between a nice villages burgundy and a very good Beaujolais- has some spice and fresh fruit to go along with some good earth and bitter notes. Pretty seamless. Would not have guessed this is at almost 8 years. — a month ago
I love sparkling wines. This is a refreshing red. I'd definitely buy again. — 7 months ago
This was the single vineyard Jackson Park Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc — a year ago
This was incredible. All the complexities of great chardonnay are there - citrus, cream, mineral, brioche, roasted hazelnuts. Bready/mealy flavours are pronounced (malo) Perfect balance of fruit intensity and structure. For A$60 this is a steal! — 2 months ago
Lovely bright mid gold with a fleck of green. Nose fresh and lifted, clean as a whistle (no Kero) pithy citrus. The palate is alive. Gripping fine acid keeps you coming back to the glass. Not overly complex but beautifully balanced. This bottle still has time in its legs. — 6 months ago
Good friendly. Acid! Well balanced — 10 months ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Vineyard sits on Willakenzie soils in the heart of the Yamhill Carlton AVA. Ruby red color with aromas of red and black fruits and spice, aged for 10 months in French oak. On the palate flavors of black cherry and raspberry with tobacco, herbs and earthy tones. Full-bodied, fine tannins, balanced, medium finish ending with big earthy spice notes. Nice now! Will age a bit! — 21 days ago
