Fermé à l’ouverture mais se révèle ensuite de façon magistrale, puissant et racé, très typé rive gauche, un vrai délice. 93-94
Closed when opened ( pop and Pour) but reveals itself after with such grace and power, very left bank, great potential and great bottle. — 4 years ago
Happy Father’s Day. Pop and pour Tig full of rustic elegance. Deep garnet color with notes of wet forest, tobacco, blackberry, plum, leather, and wet earth. Additional chocolate and oak notes on the pallet. Smooth as velvet, on the bolder side (definitely full bodied); dry with medium acidity, medium alcohol and smoothed out tannings. Cheers. — 4 years ago
Picked this up from Rex or White. Served with a charcuterie board with Debbie and David. — 2 years ago
Pop and pour. About 2 years since my last btl. Wow, stunning now.. Cola, soft nuits earth and game, dried raspberry and wild strawberry, perfume for days. On the palate: fantastic acidity, a touch thin, but somehow simultaneous denser on the finish, which shows loads of spice, strawberry. — 3 years ago
Juicy ripe fruit on the nose, meaty and smoky on the palate. Love this one — 4 years ago

So drinkable with strong notes of rose! — 4 years ago
Like a Pinot noir with a bit of funky hay and some overripe blackberries with a hint of clove... super yum. A few layers, fruit, then spice, but simple enough to enjoy anytime. — 5 years ago
— 6 years ago
What an amazing blend! This is a strong, funky wine that slaps you right in the face! Bright purple/magenta, sediment, lots of viscosity, powerful nose sees ripe cherries, oak, vanilla, cured meats, palette sees bright ripe cherries, lots of acid, medium+ tannins, high alcohol finish. This is an extreme, untamed, wild wine in every sense. Enjoyable, invigorating! — 7 years ago
Pop and pour at a restaurant over 3 hrs. So approachable and easy to drink considering it was a 2017 (drinking in 2022). Very rounded and a bit velvety, although had good minerality.
At first, very floral aromas more fruit forward, lots of cherry.
Over time, more classic rose and tar aromas and anise. Violets.
Taste became more earthy rather than fruity. Pretty good minerality too which was interesting. — 3 years ago
Bottle says medium sweet, has some fruity taste, great taste overall — 4 years ago
Pop and pour, notes from 1 hr open. Better than I remember my last btl being, but still not up to the level of that first '11. On the nose: lavender, incense, loads of garrigue, and soft red raspberry..very pure grenache. On the palate: serious acidity, hi-toned red raspberry, more herbal notes, with some salinity, almost olive brine/game, though I believe this is 100% grenache, and attenuated tannin on the finish. This has taken a very savory turn, and the tannin on the finish is slightly attenuated. Yum! — 4 years ago
Earth and fruit. Such amazing mouthfeel and structure. One of my faves in a while. — 5 years ago
Great with boiled shrimp at lunch — 6 years ago
Great Cabernet Sauvignon blend with a hint of Malbec, Petit Verdot, Syrah; dark berries, chocolate and aromatic herbal tea — 7 years ago

2011 might be a forgotten vintage but this CB is really memorable. Did a pop and pour and it had great aromatics straight away. Medium to full bodied. Velvety. Layered. Dark berries, herbs, black tea, licorice, bay leaf. First wine on the trip to France. Great start! — 2 years ago
