Silky smooth and love the design and references in the name! Superb vino — 6 years ago
Stewed prunes white pepper cedar, newer oak vanillins. Face melting tannins, blacker pepper and plums in the mouth, more perfume. Not much concentration perhaps why there is some montepulciano in the blend, so I'd be tempted to say drink now. I love it, but its kinky with the tannins. Not for everyone. — 7 years ago

Some fruit and still a lot of tannins. — 5 years ago
On the nose a stable, dark fruit, wet leaves, licorice. A big wine in other words, this Super Tuscan blend of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 15% Alicante, 10% Sangiovese and 5% Cabernet Franc. On the palate there is softness, round, dark fruit, some tobacco. A lively wine with a bite. Great surprise. — 5 years ago

I brought this one to jtd dad dinner. Great. — 10 years ago
Ok 17 years old and still this strong and classic?! Nice. Earthy woody notes and usual taste sensations you expect. Was a gift. Wish I had more! — 11 years ago

Back in Zurich, eating takeaway Thai outside! Great wine with the curry. Light, dry, mineral. Lemon, floral, pear, apricot, some mint. Dry crisp bitter finish. I had the 2020 vintage a few years ago, but I can’t remember how it compares. — a year ago
