Super Tuscan worthy of the name...a blend centered in the Sangeovesi genre'...this is a full-flavored, big, balanced, dry and tasty wine, a fine rendition of the berry. Big dry dry dry and notably bold on the palate with a dark purple color, aromatic berry-plum nose, this vino is a softly powerful and refined. Evident tannins yet balanced astringency and finish...very likely great with red meats and pasta with marinara. — 2 months ago

Powerful Brunello that should be consumed only with steak. Very intense red wine, ending with very strong (but not at all harsh) tannins. The tannins provided an intense leathery finish. This wine could age for years more. Not much fruit, but the palette would be perfect with steak or lamb, but not other foods. — 15 hours ago

Very nice Sangiovese and Syrah 80-20 blend, 2013, perfect for the better to best Super Tuscan (?) niche. Dark plum red but no big tannins, very soft palate, carefully balanced and almost elegant smoothness...nice aroma and dry, dark berry flavor with medium+ body ...drinkable with anything - a wine for all.
