this is our recent go-to for steak night — it’s a healthy balance of earthy and fruity and is complicated but in a way that works well as a table wine. win-win! — 22 days ago
Decanted for 90 minutes and could use more. Oaky nose. Intense, fruity dark chocolate. Insane. — a day ago
No sediment, so I popped and poured. Explosive nose has super-deep, pure spicy blackberry Zin fruit. Purity of fruit is a hallmark (in my experience) of Ridge’s Dusi Ranch cuvée. There’s also a bit of clove from the American oak, but it’s pretty subtle. Great intensity of flavor in the mouth, with a soft, enveloping texture. It’s big, at 14.8%, but it’s balanced. And keeping things under 15 in Paso is challenging. Terrific wine. Yummo. — a month ago

[34% Viognier, 31% Marsanne, 20% Grenache Blanc, 13% Roussanne, 2% Clairette.] Fresh, crisp, lively floral, white stonefruits, and faint mineral notes in this lovely Central Coast white Rhône blend, very good acidity, nice balance, medium-long finish, very fine!! — a month ago

Stylistically similar to Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon. Rich and fruit forward with loads of oak influences. Probaly slightly more jammy than Caymus, it also has a bit more minerality nuance.
Undeniably delicious and easy to drink, it might benefit from several more years of bottle age. — 3 days ago
