Alluring aromas of dried strawberry, dried cranberry, wet tea bag, farmyard, forest floor and tobacco introduce the 2001 Château Palmer. Although elements of brettanomyces are surprisingly prominent, this wine retains a textbook Margaux perfume. The palate expands vertically, showcasing a medium to full body, silky texture and a long, lingering finish. The 2001 Château Palmer might hold on a few more years, but it won't get any better. Rich and lush, still plenty of life in it but a real gentle giant of a wine. On the adolescent side age wise, a pleasure of a drink — 6 months ago
enjoy a lot, slightly bitter but good — 2 months ago

👃The nose delivers a great pure nose with lots of ripe yellow fruits as lemon and pear and some bitters, also some honey
👄In the mouth the chardonnay is prominent fresh, elegant and a bit salty , a very good intensity and i like especially the dried fruit as ananas and again lemon.
💰💰this a very good champagne, so the price around €70,00 is a good price
🕰This is great drinking now but can and will develop in bottle in the upcoming years. — 3 months ago
