Francis Ford Coppola Winery

Diamond Collection Black Label Claret California Cabernet Sauvignon

Excellent qpr! Upon opening, it’s somewhat subdued but half an hour later, wow! What happened?! And with food, roasted red meats, hard cheeses, grilled vegetables, it really comes alive! This is as good or better than cabs costing 2-3 times as much. Great daily drinker!! — 6 days ago

Louis Roederer

Cristal Brut Champagne Chardonnay Pinot Noir Blend 2006

Medium yellow , touch of gold . Fine bubbles , though not a lot noticable in our wine glasses . Bit of development with brioche , orange rind , mocha , touch of honeysuckle and crushed stones . On the palate this is fine boned , elegant, lemon rind , baked pastry , fine chalky notes . Quite high grippy acidity , this is linear and quite direct in style , but enough volume on the palate to cover its bones . Good medium length mineral and crystallised lemon pith charged finish . This is drinking well now but will probably last well over the next 5-10 years. — 4 days ago

The 2022 Eastside Neighbors is a complex, full bodied wine with a smooth finish. Paired well with our salmon. — 5 months ago

Ridge Vineyards

Lytton Springs Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel Blend 2018

2018. Probably my favorite Ridge Zinfandel that I’ve had. Could be that I found it in Delta Junction and wasn’t expecting it to be this delicious, or that it paired great with our homemade chicken parmigiana. — 7 months ago

La Grande Dame Brut Champagne Blend 2006

A pull from the cellar to toast my son’s (our first) graduation from High School! The 2006 La Grande Dame pours a deep straw color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is autolytic and developing with notes of ripe and tart orchard fruits: Bosc pear, green apple, strawberry, raspberry, lemon curd, toasted brioche, marzipan, honeysuckle and chalky, limestone minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with high acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and creamy. These are in a fabulous spot. Drink now through 2036+. Disgorged October of 2016. — 3 months ago

Produttori del Barbaresco

Barbaresco Nebbiolo 2019

Our last meal at the Lone Eagle Grill in Tahoe as it is closing at the end of the month! A great wine with my Blueberry Thyme Elk! Nice berry aromas with a rich long smooth finish. Will miss the restaurant! I’ve not had a bad Produttori wine. — 6 months ago
