Last night (NYE). Good stuff. Not overly fruity and not dry. Nice balance. — 5 years ago
While my favorite BdN remains Bout du Clos, this was one of the first “ah ha” Selosse wines for me some years ago in understanding the style. The south facing La Cote Faron is particularly “Selossien” and therefore particularly singular, with its oxidative complexity, textural richness and generous sun kissed ripe fruit expression. Like all Selosse wines, it’s multi-layered and super aromatic for Champagne, and the palate shows tremendous volume and intensity with a powerful, full bodied, satiny texture and a long, vibrant, mineral finish 😋 — 10 months ago
A good champagne. Drank kind of… young? Balanced but not graceful, hefty but a little too eager. All of the flavor was BOOM, right up front, and it was more green apple rind than anything. Good - maybe not my thing. — 3 years ago

This is delicious. Steely with salinity and real detail and finesse. Light citrus notes and a lovely composed midpalate. Long. Surprisingly accessible now. — 6 months ago
