La masía translates as "the farmhouse," which Marimar Estate was designed to resemble. Medium Ruby with aromas of red fruits, dried herbs and earthy spice. On the palate flavors of cherry and raspberry with toasty notes and herb cinnamon spice. Full-bodied, fine soft textured tannins, long finish ending with juicy fruit and spicy herb character. Beautiful Priorat. Blend of primarily Garnacha and Carinena. Dark garnet color. Aromas of black and red berries/currants along with sweet spices, dried rose petals and dried herbs. The juicy palate features red and blue berry fruit, menthol, orange zest and cocoa. Note of bloody iron on the lengthy finish. Silky tannins and texture. Medium bodied and nicely concentrated.
