The 2021 Sangiovese Predappio is perfumed with an earthy tinge that perfectly offsets its ripe blueberry fruit. This is round and supple, with a classic feel, displaying amazing energy and a fine cut. Citrus-laced plums and violet undertones linger on the long and gently tannic finish. $25.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, September 2024) — 10 months ago
Last vintage from Bressler, grapes going to Anomaly vineyards now. Was on the customer list at the start for a few years and still have 01 and 02 (popped an 02 a year ago and it was great) in the cellar. Grabbed some 2014s at a great price. For Napa, Bressler was always worth seeking...premium valley floor fruit, Mia Klein winemaker, and under $100 release price.
1 hour decant (little sediment). A splended inky dark magenta color. On the nose: floral, sandlewood, black cherry and plum, cedar, vanilla marshmallows. Taste: Elegant and smooth, soft tannins with blackberry, blueberry, chocolate, with a spicy cedar medium plus finish....ready to go another 15 years. — 5 years ago

Tastes peppery and old-world-ish, but really good. — 7 years ago
Soft upfront with mild dark fruit. But builds to a dry dry tannin middle that lingers with a pow of dryness. — 8 years ago
Perfectly well balanced delicious slight peach with delicate minealality. An easy drinking white wine — 2 years ago
Have 2017. Fruity, spicy and very pleasant to drink. Just a wine I like. — 5 years ago
This is my favorite wine. — 7 years ago
Love it!! So smooth — 8 years ago
When in Rome (as they say) 75% Cab Franc, 25% Merlot. This needs air or you'll think it uninspiring (was best the next day). Violets and slight French oak nose. Smooth, clean blue fruits with tannins up front fading at mid palate. Med/short finish. Solid wine. — 8 years ago

Pours a copper-gold color that will immediately make you wonder if this has been oxidized, but apparently that's the style. Like their reds, they seem to turn everything up to 11 in Montefalco.
After decanting in the glass, aromas of toffee, white flowers, almonds, bitter oranges, and minerals. Very funky and interesting, but not something I'd hand innocent wine drinkers. — 8 months ago
