I called this Alsatian Pinot Gris as there was a fair amount of fleshy, yet round, fruit skin. Cantaloupe and melon, mainly. But about 30mins later, the sweetness jumped out of the glass and it became a nice example of German Riesling. Just needs time. — 6 years ago

Golden nectar. Smooth petrol in the nose, hints of mango and pine. Sweet tropical fruits with the bitters of over ripe pineapple. Sweets are nicely balanced by the fresh ciric acids. — 5 years ago

Vintage 2015 | beautiful smell with marsipan, bananas and minerality. Medium weight, quite a lot of sugar and honey impression. Actually a bit to sweet to combine it with the shrimp salad. Heads up to the next combination. — 5 years ago

Mineral driven dryness, light acidity, very low sugar. Notable difference between the standard bottling and this version, the Zehnkommanull. It can rest easy for several more years. Upper Mosel, land of limestone, and Ebling.
