Well the wife got brave and opened a bottle I didn’t want used in a sauce the other day. Probably had her dad over since I was on a bis trip. Glad I got to try. Nice wine. — 3 months ago

100% Malbec crafted by the Catena Zapata family, which established with their first Malbec vineyard planted in Mendoza, Argentina in the beginning of 1900’s.
This is sensational mid-range in the Zapata portfolio, highly perfumed wine, on nose it welcomes you with a blend of medley berries, ripen plums and baked blueberries. On the palate shows highly and deep flavors of dark chocolate, some hint of herbaceous and violet flowers as well.
The mouthfeel is denoted by the creamy and rounded tannins with a execptional depth and complexity. Decant it for 45-60 mins, pour and cheers! — 2 months ago

Chocolatey, meaty, soft tannins. The pizza of wines - nothing bad about that. — 5 months ago
A blend of Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot, aged in French oak 65% new and 35% 1 year old, fruit sourced from Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley. Deep Ruby with aromas of dark fruit, earthy and floral spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and tart cherry flavors, with vanilla, licorice, citrus and herb spice. Fine tannins, well balanced long finish ending with tart fruit and a sweet earthy mineral character. Nice! A Fav! — 7 months ago
An incredibly good Malbec. The color, the aroma, the consistency and the way it compliments food… I am impressed. Now I have to get some more Diseno. — 9 months ago
On the nose, this is cranberry and faint raspberry... Wintertime cocoa? On the palate, this is back to the fruit... Red plum, cranberry... A medium body... The acidity is past medium. Juicy. Tannins very present but unfocused. Medium length of red plum skins. — 2 months ago
The best bottle of Argentinian Malbec I have had. Deep and dense layers of black fruit. Velvety and mellow tannins. Fantastic pairing with our steaks. Vina Cobos is a winery to seek out. Paul Hobbs as well. — 3 months ago
