a dark cherry colour with hints of violet. On the nose, you get intense aroma of cherries, blackberries along with a toasty smell. A rounded, well-structured taste with a burst of fruity flavours with hints of oak.

2016 vintage. You can really smell the fruit. The nose is much sweeter than the taste. Jammy notes of berries with a huge hint of prunes. The rich, dark, thick color foretells the taste to expect. Pared this with crab stuffed mushrooms, baba ghanoush, and wheat thins. This one makes me wonder why I don’t drink more Malbec.
