12 year anniversary, delightful with steak, I’m sure would last 12 more years. — 5 years ago
Tastes like Premier Cru Gevrey Chambertin with Bubbles. Outta control. — 8 years ago
Ripe fruit and while there is oak present it wasn’t overbearing. Acid held everything together. — 9 months ago
Phenomenal. Every other year I open one of these bottles from 2016 and the evolution keeps impressing me. On the nose, has a character of rainy ancient west coast forest. On the palate, Blackberry, blueberry, with hints of dark cherry. Blended perfectly with a rich, aged, leather. Hints of cedar wood, slightly smoked. Perfectly balanced. Only going to keep getting better over the next few years. — 4 years ago

This is LV14. No dosage. A year and a half since my last btl, roughly. On the nose: melon, with creme fraiche, basil, meyer lemon, meyer lemon zest. Not sure I would believe BdB blind. Color suggests skin contact...almost soft peach. On the palate: aggressive mousse at first...maybe needed a decant. Lovely acidity, lime, bitter citrus, a touch short, and very juicy on the dense and tangy finish. A stunner. — 5 years ago
Apples, toast. Laser focused and balanced acid, fruit, dosage. Lovely. — 6 years ago

Slightly savory, lemon curd, salinity, sea spray, green apple, pear, lean with subtle toast almond, sour dough, mouse bubbles and racy acidity. Med plus to long finish. What a beautiful neat champagne could go with almost everything. — 8 years ago
Dry as a bone. Chalky. Tropical fruits. — 4 years ago
The most perfect thing that has ever reached my mouth. This paired with oysters or beef tartar is just life changing. — 5 years ago
OMFG. This nose is insane. Insane. Just the most pure black cherry ever. God’s Jelly Donut filling. Earthy, graphite? Tiny berry fruit intensity. Wild flower that is crazy. Smells like a scene in nature. Wow, the sweetness is BONKERS. Unreal purity. So balanced and pure. Texture is seamless. Huge amplitude and minerals. Tingly saline mineral note. Minerality and more mineral than the whites. The finish has tiny berry fruit intensity and echoes of flowers. What a finish. How is this better than the Cras?
Now the nose gets herbal. Complexity is off the charts. Raspberry spice cake on the nose now. This is some of the most beautiful fruit I’ve ever had in my life. But the finish is glorious minerals intermingled with fruit. — 5 years ago
