2021 vintage. Pleasant throughout and hit plenty of notes without screeching. The KB style has changed in the last few years. Gone are the mega-extracted pinots altho those are still around and holding up in the cellars/secondary market. Those older wines were a 10 on the volume scale. The last few vintages are closer to a 5. That said, this should hold up and develop nicely for a decade+ without issues. Those that don't think you can drink CA pinot noir over 4-5 years old are in for quite the surprise with quality producers. 04.18.25. — 4 months ago
Incredibly nuanced and perfectly balanced Chardonnay. Beautiful aroma and couldn’t be more presently surprised at such a delicate California Chardonnay! Wish I bought more. — a year ago

v15. Very nice, shaved, smoked cedar nose. Bold, rich, mixed cherry and tar fruit. Dry, tight mocha finish. Definite food wine. — 4 years ago
Great earthy wine for the price — 5 years ago
Better than the other Kosta Browne Pinot Noirs I have drank and less expensive at $70. Intense cherry but not overdone. Smooth and elegant. — 4 months ago
Tried two of their more current releases, 21 Russian River & 21 Crown Gap and this 2017 Thorn Ridge from Magnum. Always consistent, solid Pinots from KB. Paired well with the Duck.
At Pebble Beach Food & Wine 2025.
The ticket to this event has a pretty big price tag. But when you consider what a Napa etc. tasting or two and lunch would cost you, you are pretty much there and there is so much more than that. It ends up having great value. It’s wine, spirits and food candy land.

Liked it a lot. Great with the chocolate cake — 10 months ago
Dark, slightly glass-clinging garnet purple. Abundant nose of compote blueberries. Medium full palate confirms the nose adding plum juice, red apple peel, violets, and graphite. Medium acidity. Medium, mildly assertive tannins. Medium long finish. Classic rich HHH that's a perfect bridge between California fruit and Bordeaux structure. Beef, lamb, and rich stews are in order. Drink now through 2027. — 2 years ago
