For $14 this is a drinkable Pinot. It's a bit simple with black fruit and simple oak flavors. There isn't a lot of varietal character here but that is nothing off-putting either. This is a quaffing wine, fine for barbecue but not really representative of Pinot Noir

Earthy, dried leaves, mushrooms, baked cherry, some subtle black peppercorns. Light meatiness. Medhigh acidity. Low tannins. Medlow body. Light alcohol heat in aroma, slight burn in finish.
