Vintage 2019 | tasted blind | deep dark colour with a brown rim, cedar in smell and a hint of cassis and cherries, rounded taste, obviously too young but you realize this will develop further in a velvety structure. Very good effort, this Bordeaux blend from Germany. 18-20 m barrel aging. — 3 months ago
A blend of Marsanne and Viogner. This was brilliant. Needed time and to warm up a bit but then came ripe fruits, honey and quince with woody notes from the barrel aging. For €27 this was truelly amazing! — 3 years ago
Love Knipser as a producer and they are in a group of german wine makers that simply dont make bad wines. Buttery and slighty oaky with persisting acidity...all round a very enjoyable Chardonnay — a year ago
Balanced and extremely mourish. Bottle was finished in record time. Knipser is so reliable. Truelly one of the great producers in the german wine scene. — 8 months ago
