Very good. Good nose. Love this wine. Had it with Japanese Yakiniku and grilled vegetables. — 3 months ago

A very full bodied GSM with a deep dark body. Drinks well now and was perfect with our pasta and salad. Tasty! — 5 months ago
The delicious, smoothly textured, 2021 Justin Cabernet Sauvignon (Paso Robles) is intensely colored, nicely balanced, and well structured; medium>full, with an abundance of aromatic and flavorsome black fruits (Bing cherry, blackberry); refined with barrel aging notes (spice, vanilla, toast); and framed with medium acidity and smooth tannins at the mouth cleansing finish. Tasty stuff, and should be ideal with tonight’s wine-braised, beef short ribs and potato pancakes, Happy New Year from Napa Valley! — 6 months ago
Color of beautiful purple with some ruby color in it, nice legs. Nose is nice with sweet dried strawberry ice cream, ripe berries, aldehyde, some refined spice, some fermented cabbage, strength of alcohol, and Coca-Cola. Taste is smooth and follows the nose, no tannins and a bit zesty, sweet berries with black pepper. Aftertaste shows some more Coca-Cola taste and clean. Light yet refreshing and decent flavors. — 4 years ago
We’re pausing on goodness and hope today. We hold so much gratitude in our hearts for our loved ones and their presence in our lives. We want to share a heartfelt thanks to you all who’ve supported and inspired us day in and day out. 🙏🙏💕💕
Today we had a vegan Thanksgiving bowl of roasted carrots, acorn squash, brussels sprouts, and broccoli, along with mashed yams, potatoes, toasted pecans, pomegranate, cranberry sauce (with orange zest), and thyme-spiced gravy. 🍁🍁🍁
With it we paired a couple of options each of which went well with the flavors, textures, and elements of the meal… here’s the Gamay…
Famille Dutraive, Fleurie Lieu Dit, Les Deduits 2019. ABV 14.5%. Organically farmed, old vine gamay. Intensely fruity with an abundance of bright cherry, strawberry, cranberry, banana, kirsch on the nose and palate, with noteworthy acidity, high alcohol, soft tannins and notes of vanilla, cinnamon, developed while aging 6 months in oak. Whole cluster, carbonic fermentation 👏👏

Wonderful fruits and complex wine. Great structure, lot of blackberry fruit. Loved it. — 3 months ago
New vintage of Justin’s flagship blend. A bit more constrained, but elegant and delicious as always. At 86% cab, is it really a blend? lol. Nice cassis notes. — 5 months ago
Very bold with strong dark berries flavors. Fruit forward with spice. Paired awesome with a veal chop. — 5 months ago
Nose of blueberry, blackberry, hint of licorice. Moderately complex with medium to medium long finish. At 10 years old this could go for another 5-10 years for sure. This is worth drinking now or later. — 6 months ago
JUSTIN – Sauvignon Blanc 2024
Central Coast AVA – California – USA 🇺🇸
Overview
A fresh Central Coast expression of 100% Sauvignon Blanc, showcasing a bright, fruit-driven profile with coastal influence. The 2024 vintage leans vibrant and clean, emphasizing freshness without excessive sharpness.
Aromas & Flavors
Dominant grapefruit, citrus zest, and persistent tropical notes, think pineapple and passion fruit. Crisp and aromatic with a lively fruit core.
Mouthfeel
Light to medium-bodied with a refreshing, clean texture. Dry, with well-balanced acidity, sharp enough to stay lively, but not overly aggressive.
Food Pairings
Great with ceviche, oysters, grilled shrimp, or fresh salads. Also pairs nicely with goat cheese or light citrus-driven dishes.
Verdict
A crisp, approachable Sauvignon Blanc that delivers classic Central Coast freshness with solid fruit expression and balance. Easy to enjoy and highly versatile.

Leftovers from our 2nd Annual, “Bierock Bonaza: Let’s have some funza with Runza”.
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of three hours. The 2015 pours a deep ruby with a slightly purple tinge and a near opaque core; medium+ viscosity with light staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of lightly stewed, spiced strawberry, ripe fig, and cherry lozenges, red flowers, green herbs, with a touch of leather, and a mix of organic and inorganic rocky earth. Just the faintest hint of mouse. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. The alcohol is also medium+. Delicious. Drink now through 2030.

Complex and pleasant nose, not too fruity. Balanced tannins with hints of blackberry, plum, black cherry, spices, oak, and black pepper. Bold and smooth. Dry finish. — 5 months ago
Light. Vibrant. Lots of finesse. Really loved this one. — 6 months ago
Medium ruby , wide quite light garnet ruby rim . This has quite closed at first , with ripe raspberry , spiced red cherry , strawberry, touch of spice also. On the palate this is quite fresh and vivid, raspberry , red currant , wild strawberry , touch of spice. Quite high acidity and lightly grippy tannins . Light red fruited finish , of pretty good medium length . Still pretty young , and quite well defined and detailed, vivid, even though there is a bit more oak spice noticable than the Pommard tasted yesterday. With time this is drinking well now but will last well a further 5-10 . — 10 months ago
