This was a by-the-glass favorite at the Loire property where we stayed. Biodynamic Pinot d’Aunis. Lots of wild red berries complicated by earthy, peppery and floral tones — 8 months ago
Blend of 84% Cabernet, 12% Merlot, and the rest Cabernet Franc, deep Ruby with rich fruit aromas, aged for 14 months in 15% new French oak. On the palate flavors of blackberry and currants, with notes of licorice, tobacco, some floral and cedar spice. Fine tannins, long finish, ending with fruit, vanilla, oak and spice. Nice but needs more bottle age, should last another 10 years. Nice! — 10 months ago

Not good straight out of the bottle but really classic and pleasant on day 3. Classic claret — 5 months ago
Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Soft nose of red and black fruits with light wood, spices, coffee, earth, dark chocolates, tobacco leaf and black pepper.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with blueberries, plums, cooked cherries, dark chocolates, light oak, licorice, spices and light herbs.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
This is a very tasty 5 year old second wine from Beychevelle in Saint Julien. Elegant and spicy with lots of chocolate notes.
Showing good structure, and a good quality wine. Balanced, complex and easy drinking.
Will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years. Would be nice to revisit it in 3 years and see how it evolved.
A blend of 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 43% Merlot and 3% Cabernet Franc. Aged for 12 months in (30% new) French oak barrels.
13.5% alcohol by volume.
90 points.

Spiced apple and pear dominate the palate upfront with a hint of white peach. Leading into that irresistible minerallity you often get from Loire Valley whites. Lively acidity on the finish keeps you coming back for more!!!! — 9 years ago
2012, Clos Des Vignes Du Maynes, Cuvée 910, Macon-Cruzille, field blend of Gamay, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Very light with fresh red fruit balanced by spice and herbal undertones. This is one of my favorites, good as an apertif and pairs well with a variety of dishes. — 12 years ago
