Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (65%), Merlot (24%), Cabernet Franc (6%) and Petite Verdot (5%). Dark Ruby/purple color. Aromas of blueberry, black currants, violets and tobacco. Black fruit (blackberry, black currant, black plum) on the palate with hints of chocolate, black licorice, baking spices and black pepper. Medium-plus bodied and a slight note of mineral/graphite on the long flavorful finish. Well integrated oak, creamy texture and lively acidity. — a month ago
Wonderful Bordeaux blend from Saint-Julien. Super dry dark blue fruit seamlessly integrated with aged wood notes of dark chocolate, raw tobacco and leather (remember chewing on this as a kid 😁) and smooth rounded tannins. A great wine to just sip, reminisce and… wondering where the oldest vineyard in the world might be? You want to know? Really a wonderful St J and a crazy value as a 2nd wine. Lovely pairing with roast rack of lamb with garlic / rosemary / mustard. In a good window but could take more time honestly. Wonderful acid, quite deep fruit, long finish, tannins still very there, delicious. — 4 months ago
So light ! enjoyed on thanksgiving had strong intensely high acid was so fresh and weightless married well with all the fixings — 2 years ago

Quite smoky & raw. Gravel & raw cacao. The fruit really hidden right now. Barely hinted. After some time a bit of cassis emerges.
Dense on the palate. And quite burly. Big tannins, juicy yet very present. Great depth. Roast, cacao, very masculine.
This is way too early to drink this, still needs time to settle down. Brilliant but way too young. — a month ago

Spicy cranberry, black tea, crushed leaves. Fall in a bottle. Fun stuff. — 7 months ago
Deep ruby. Tobacco, ash, graphite, tons of French oak. Pyrazene. Rather juicy and just ripe fruit - mix of dark and red currants, and red plums. Tarter on palate. Very structured. Called it a left bank 2018 Margaux……… — 9 months ago

Cool wine. Long ageing (7 years). Complex but kind of flat on the mouthfeel. Not a wine for everyone. — 13 days ago
2016 inviting nose, soft tannins and good finish. — 2 months ago
2005 vintage. Beautiful nose, with cassis, blackberries, cedar wood, a little smokiness, and flowers. Seriously concentrated, combining power and elegance. Layers of fruit in a tight but ripe tannic structure. Showing beautifully now, but it should age effortlessly for decades. Classic Saint-Julien. — 4 months ago

Vivid, juicy, laurel, sun dried tomatoes, nicely evolved, inky and chewy, caught this one in a great phase, showing its muscles and all. — a month ago
