No notes. Beef jerky & dark cherries, on nose & palate. Thinner concentration I had hoped for, but suspect age, air and/ or long decant will bring it together — 3 months ago
2020 drinking very well after a short decant - beautiful full body with a very persistent finish. Dark fruits, cassis, smoke and mineral / iron accents - great quality relative to the price — 6 months ago

2023/12. This was really good - effusive aromatically, fleshy and ample on the palate. — 5 months ago
The 2019 Montrachet Grand Cru is a little oakier and creamier on the nose than its peers, yet with enormous depth of fruit that crashes over the olfactory senses. But perhaps it needs more delineation? It seems slightly later-picked than its peers, giving off light caramel notes. The palate is medium-bodied and hewn from a richer style of this Grand Cru. Slightly viscous in texture, dense and powerful, it doesn't quite possess the killer clarity and/or mineralité on the finish as the best in the flight. Impressive nonetheless, this is a Montrachet with real heft. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting. (Neal Martin, Vinous, December 2023)

Deep red color. Bright aromas and flavors of red berry/cassis fruit, wet soil, dark chocolate and baking spices. A pronounced vanilla note on the mid-palate. Well balanced but a bit short on the finish. Very smooth tannins. Young and fruit forward. Could benefit from additional bottle age. Thank you for sharing this one, Chris B! — 6 months ago

Nothing profound or particularly thoughtful here. Just an easy, simple, clean wine that asks very little of you in a great way. — 2 months ago
