1982 vintage. Above average fill. Cork 98% saturated. Decanted and throwing a mix of chunky and sandy sed. Tasted after 15 minutes. Dark-fruited nose. Still medium body. Any overt fruit is gonzo and this specimen ended up as more muscular than remembered with notable balance. Tannic skeleton definitely in place. Least favorite 1st growth overall but this was a great showing. In a sweet spot currently and likely to hold here without drop off for another 4-5 years. 6.1.24. — 15 days ago
Excellent! It took very little time to breathe which was unexpected for a 2011. We will be buying more of this if we can find it. — 23 days ago
2013 at top level continues to drink fabulously, and Mugnier’s Fuées, a magical vineyard and essentially a southern extension of Bonnes Mares, is stunning today on pnp (although last sips were the best) wafting layers of sweet strawberry-rhubarb, sous bois, rose petals, game and smoky minerals. It’s liquid velvet in the mouth with an energetic spine of cool minerality and balanced acids adding freshness and focus to its delivery. It’s simply a beguiling combination of power and elegance and a superb expression of the vintage. — 2 months ago
A nice example of a fairly obscure varietal. It worked better with my tuna entrée than with Bonnie’s rack of lamb. I think it needs a bit more aging. — 21 days ago
1995 vintage. Decanted and throwing appropriate sed. Cork and fill both above average. Tasted immediately after decanting. Massive, dark fruits coddled with aggressive tannins. Fleeting taste but suggested an easy two decades ahead with push and promise. 5.17.24. — a month ago

Bottle 13-disg 2009, 2004 base. Greater intensity and freshness on the nose vs bottle 12. The oxidative notes integrate with scents of spice . On the palate complexity with freshness. A landslide of apples, oranges and minerals. — 5 days ago
