Pale lemon in color with a golden hue.

Nose of limes, yeast, earth, citrus, brioche, minerals, spices, sea salt and light herbs.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity and medium sized bubbles.

Dry on the palate with lemons, green apples, herbs, yeast, earth, spices, white pepper and brioche.

Long finish with limes and light herbs.

This is a very tasty sparkling wine from Russian River Valley. Feels very fresh, complex and entertaining. Nicely balanced and elegant.

This 6 year old Blanc de Blanc will continue to age nicely in the next 7 years.

Good right out of the bottle, and good by itself or with food.

100% Chardonnay grapes were aged for 4 years on the lees.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

Opens with nose of fresh churned butter & lemon. Upon first taste, surprised by its sting of citrus leaning towards grapefruit & cleanse of sustained limestone minerality. At this point, I checked the label again to insure its said Chardonnay as Sav Blanc & Viognier was there. It opens up becoming more floral, orange zest but maintains minerality cleanse. I love this vintage now. Cedar, camphor and pine as well as dry roses and pot pourri. Long finish full of elegance. The marker of Pauillac for me is blood sausage/iron/cured meat and here it was just exploding. Great bottle, classic, perfect for a blind tasting. — 2 years ago
