Glen Scotia

Hector of Glen Elgin Shiraz 2014

A medium bodied Hunter Shiraz that is drinking well now but will keep for a few more years. A lovely wine that was enjoyed by everyone at the dinner. — 7 days ago

Glen Oaks Vineyard Pinot Gris

Fun wine at Fig. Best guess is Chardonnay. Not super orange-y, slightly oxidized. — a month ago

Tidal Bay

The driest tidal bay they had, it still manages a slight sweetness, almost bubblely character, and tastes mildly of limes. Would be great in the summer
Went surprisingly well with a cheesy lasagna, the lime mineralness was actually refreshing

Laurel Glen Vineyard

Sonoma Mountain Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 1983

My last btl from a winery of the past that I had followed during the 80’s buying & drinking cases of the 84-87 vintages. I remember RP liked his wines & rated highly. My 1st time with the 83 drinking very youthful showing lots of red fruits, cassis, leather, menthol, chocolate & sweet spices. This had nice acidity & balance. — a month ago

Tidal Bay Nova Scotia's L'Acadie Blanc Blend 2020

A really good tidal bay, prominent peach flavour on first sip, slight "bubblyness", not overly sweet on finish. Hubbie absolutely loved it — 3 months ago

Glen Manor Vineyards

Hodder Hill Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2014

So not much has changed in 3 yrs since first trying this in the tasting room. The profile is lean and linear. 69 CS 16 Merlot and the rest PV. This clearly the weakest build of Jeff’s run of left bank builds. The 2014 was classic, so not huge numbers for the CS. THE TEXTURE IS LOVELY though. ;) 90+ for sure, keeping the streak ALIVE!! — 3 months ago

Laurel Glen Vineyard

Counterpoint Sonoma Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon 1995

Always been a fan of the 1995 Cal Cabs, this shows just a trace of a green note up front, but nicely balanced, ready to drink, second label Laurel Glen!! — a month ago

Miss those 80's and 90's vintages of Laurel Glen. Tough love in a bottle.
