2022 vintage. Tasted via Coravin. Medium-heavy body. Trashed label, tawdry goods. Knows exactly how to seduce and deliver and how. Plenty of acidity, fruit, minerals and balance. Excellent concentration throughout and pretties up on the loooong finish. An ascendant star. 02.26.25. — a year ago

2022 vintage. Open 3 hours before tasting. Medium-heavy body. Overt oak and trending more Meursault than P-M. Very little of the P-M subtlety and "minerality" one expects and pays for. Just okay with but less than stoked. Kinda pissed because this was sourced for a larger party that also wanted, and drank, Sancerre as well. Suddenly, not so pissed about this being off the range Puligny. 1.24.26. — 4 months ago

From the Meritage Wine Market in Encinitas 110$. Interesting that the rating for this white burgh is all over the place. However this is very nice! Pears, hazelnut and ripe apples. Honey. A nice white burgh perhaps a touch too rich and big at 14%. Drink now. — 7 months ago
2023 vintage. From vines planted in 1968. Wonderful floral nose, elegant and complex. This small estate is a great discovery, I had a nice conversation with owner Denis Basset and one of his young daughters, Eva, who is fully involved. An estate to watch! — 8 months ago

Goddamn. Hypnotically aromatic and redolent of cherries, red berries, tobacco, a little forest floor, leather structured with just the right amount of minerality and crisp acidity and last for days and mouthfeel that’s just luscious. This, an edible, and some foie would be a perfect night in — 2 days ago
