1 1/2 years of patience, next bottle out of the case. Bold, packing a punch, still super rich with grippy tannins. — 8 years ago
Lovely local white we had whilst on our honeymoon in Rome. Dry with subtle fruit flavor (I'm no expert on tasting notes, sorry) but this was lovely. — 9 years ago
Dark cherries, plum, anise and sweet spice. Medium plus body, med+ tannin. Med + acidity. Long finish. — 10 years ago

My Independence Day wine. Named for the patriot Filippo Mazzei who's great doctrine "All men are created equal" was incorporated into the Declaration of Independence by his great friend Thomas Jefferson. He's also the great viticulturist who planted the first vineyards at the Jefferson estate in Monticello, Virginia. — 11 years ago

Dry, fruity, medium-bodied. Pretty simple! — 9 years ago
Tasted flat after it was uncorked; but 30 minutes later it released full fruit -- cherries, blackberry, and perfect tannins. Impressive. — 9 years ago
