Blend from different sites - Bonneveaux, Perrières et Coères - in Montigny, the southernmost appellation of the Côte Chalonnaise. Aged for 4 months in stainless steel and 4 months in oak barrels (15% new). Pale color. Hints of fennel. Balanced, quite elegant — 2 years ago
Elegant Vin Jaune by reputed producer Lucien Aviet in Montigny-les-Arsures, just north of Arbois. Savagnin from several plots, aged for 8 years under veil. Intense, complex nose with aromas of nuts and curry. Fresh, lively on the palate. Slightly saline, mouthwatering acidity — 2 years ago
Feb 2024: nice balance although tastes sweeter than it really is, refreshing. — 8 months ago
Prominent Riesling nose, Concorde white grape juice, slight lemon hints, wet stone, and maybe a hint of apricot and underripe pear, and this has been open a week! Beautiful Crystal color, with hints of green and gold in the middle, medium to light body, with a prominent palate, and notes of crisp green apple, green pear, and underripe lemon. Great pairing for spring rolls! — 8 months ago
100% Savagnin sourced primarily from the Au Barby and Grand Curoulet parcels (in Montigny and Arbois), on marl and terre de gryphées soils. Fermented in 500L barrels in the Burgundian way (topped up). Aged for 10 months in neutral 350L oak barrels. Fresh, slightly saline, good acidity. Delicate nose with aromas of yellow apple, melon and hints of grass (fennel?). Flavors of yellow apple and chalk. Fresh, slightly saline, good acidity — 2 years ago

Stunning. Nose has a little yeasty note over crushed slate and pure apricot/apple fruit. Absolutely full of life in the mouth, with zesty pure home-canned peach fruit (my mom used to do this, so I know) over some apple and slate. Such a lively mouthfeel. Beautifully pure finish. — 7 days ago
